About the Class
In Greek myth it is Persephone who becomes the Queen of the Underworld. Her gifts are her perception - and ability to see in the dark.
Persephone is the the Priestess and is reflective of that aspect of ourselves which simply knows despite no rational explanation for such awareness.
In this session we will explore her sensitivities, how she comes into her wisdom, where she may be found in our culture and how we might develop her gifts.
The Archetypes Series
According to the psychology of C. G. Jung, our psyche is populated by a set of key archetypes. Some of these we will have developed, others will have remained in shadow.
This ongoing group will explore the various archetypes such as the hero, lover, trickster, warrior, seeker, teacher, controller, rebel, mystic, healer, mother, father, magician and priestess. Participants are invited to share their personal experience of the particular archetype.
By the end of each session, you should be able to identify which aspects of the archetype you have established a relationship with, and which remain dormant.
